About The Henry Jones Art Hotel
The Henry Jones is Australia’s first dedicated art hotel, and one of a handful of art hotels in the world.
Situated in Hobart’s CBD and created within Hobart’s oldest waterfront warehouses, The Henry Jones Art Hotel merges historic and modern, blending the original 19th century architecture of the city with ultra-modern design and contemporary art.
The hotel features 56 individually designed rooms and suites which reflect Henry Jones’ characteristic fusion of art, heritage, tradition and nature. Sleek modernity complements untouched heritage features, nineteenth century sandstone walls frame contemporary artworks, and original windows reveal views of Hobart’s harbour, city, mountains and built history.
The hotel also features a number of food & beverage offerings including;
Henry’s Restaurant; the hotel’s flagship, which blends effortless style & exceptional service with an unforgettable dining experience.
The IXL Long Bar; renowned for its specialty cocktails, extensive beverage list and intimate service.
Jam Packed Café; the social hub of the property set within the building and IXL atrium popular for a relaxed coffee or all day dining.
Conference & Events; catering to a variety of functions that results in not only a successful event, but one that is truly memorable.
The Henry Jones Art Hotel experience is driven by our dedicated team members all with the common thread, which is our passion for the art of hospitality, our genuine connection to our site and our devotion towards creating a remarkable guest experience.
