Be sure to keep an eye out for Henry the Fairy Penguin when staying with us at The Henry Jones Art Hotel.
Every purchase of Henry supports our friends at Inscape Tasmania to deliver art projects to patients and their families at the Royal Hobart Hospital, bringing joy and comfort during difficult times. You’ll also support Tas Textiles, the Tasmanian knitting mill where Henry is made; providing employment opportunities for people living with intellectual, cognitive and developmental disabilities.
Inscape Tasmania: Ten Years of Creativity in Care
2025 marks ten years since Inscape Tasmania first began bringing art and music into the Royal Hobart Hospital to help create moments of calm, colour and connection in the clinical spaces. Over the past decade, artists and musicians have delivered thousands of bedside sessions, performances and artworks, all made possible through the ongoing support and encouragement of hospital staff.
As Executive Officer Leigh Tesch says, “The past ten years have proved what’s possible when artists, health staff and the community come together to imagine something better.”
Celebrate this milestone at the Henry Jones Art Hotel on Thursday 24 July 2025, an evening of music, art and conversation to help fund the next decade of creativity in care.
