Paul Gundry

Paul Gundry lives and works in Moonah, Tasmania. He graduated from The School of Art, University of Tasmania (now Tasmanian College of the Arts) in 1997 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Honors (Painting). Also completed a Bachelor of Arts, Honors (History) in 2003 (University of Tasmania).

He has been exhibiting commercially since 2006, and joined Colville Gallery (Tasmania) in 2008.

He has been a finalist in numerous national art awards including The Glover Prize (Evandale, Tas), The Duke Art Award (Gold Coast, Qld), The Paddington Art Prize (NSW), The Mosman Art Prize (NSW), The Lloyd Rees Art Prize (Tas), and participation in many other open art prizes, including the Burnie Art Prize (winner 2008), and the Brunswick Street Gallery Small Works Prize (winner, residency prize, 2013).
