Landscape serves premium Australian cuisine showcasing the best Tasmanian produce, prepared over an Asado grill fired with seasoned local timber. Signature dishes include aged Wagyu beef, Tasmanian lamb, fresh seafood and seasonal vegetables.

Do I need a reservation at Landscape?

Yes, reservations are strongly recommended as Landscape is one of Hobart’s most sought-after dining experiences. Contact our team by phone or email to reserve. For bookings within 48 hours, calling is best.

Is Landscape open for lunch and dinner?

Landscape opens for dinner only from 5:45pm, seven nights a week. There is no lunch service at this time.

Can Landscape cater for dietary requirements?

Yes. The menu includes vegetarian and gluten-free options, and the kitchen can tailor dishes where possible. Please advise your requirements when booking or on arrival.

Is Landscape suitable for special occasions or group dining?

Yes. Landscape offers a refined setting with original John Glover artworks and private spaces for groups. The private dining room and lounge can host approximately 13 to 22 guests for intimate celebrations or business dinners.

Jam Packed Café serves breakfast and lunch with barista-made coffee. Breakfast favourites include eggs on sourdough, house-made bircher, croissants and the Jam Packed Big Breakkie. Lunch options include poke bowls, cheeseburgers, corn fritters and the signature chicken Caesar schnitzel.

Is breakfast at Jam Packed open to the public?

Yes. Breakfast is served daily for hotel guests and the public from 6:30am to 2:00pm.

Do I need a reservation for Jam Packed Café?

No. Jam Packed operates primarily as a walk-in café, so there is no need to book ahead for breakfast or lunch.

Yes. Most menu items are available to take away, ideal for waterfront walks or dining on the go.

What food can I order through in-room dining?

In-room dining covers breakfast, dinner and late-night snacks prepared by the hotel’s culinary team. Breakfast includes sourdough toast, croissants, yoghurt and granola, eggs and bagels, plus the full Jam Packed Big Breakkie. Dinner choices and a Night Owl menu provide warm, satisfying options later in the day, with vegetarian and gluten-free dishes available.

What are the in-room dining hours?

Breakfast runs from 6:30am to 10:00am, lunch from 10:00am to 2:00pm, afternoon snacks from 2:00pm to 6:00pm, dinner from 6:00pm to 10:00pm and the Night Owl menu from 10:00pm to 2:30am. Hours may vary, so please check with reception during your stay.

Can I order from the main restaurant menus to my room?

Not directly. The in-room dining menu is separate and curated for comfort and timely delivery, although some dishes may be similar and uphold the same quality standards.

Are late-night options available for in-room dining?

Yes. The Night Owl menu runs from 10:00pm to 2:30am so you can order late-night meals from the comfort of your room.

Is there a surcharge for in-room dining?

Yes. An $8.00 delivery fee applies to all in-room dining orders. A 15% surcharge applies on public holidays.
